Altogether Autism has developed a number of workshops for autistic people, family / whānau, allies, educators and professionals, to work towards the shared goal of living good lives.
Gaining knowledge, understanding and strategies can make a dramatically positive difference whether you are autistic or live and work with autistic people.
Learning options include face-to-face in-person workshops or online via Zoom or MS Teams. Some workshops are also offered as self-directed learning via Moodle e-learning. Not all workshops have all options so please check the specifics before you register.
We specialise in bespoke training. Please contact us if your learning needs are not covered by our current programmes.
Altogether Autism developed its Professional Development workshop series specifically for professionals whose jobs involve working with autistic people.
Our Professional Development series of workshops cover a wide variety of topics and can be run as in-house workshops for large organisations, or combined workshops for smaller organisations. If you are part of a larger organisation, we can tailor-make a workshop for your staff.
Altogether Autism workshops for Educators have been specifically developed to help educators at all levels from early childhood to tertiary level. We aim to equip educators at all levels of education to work effectively and compassionately with autistic learners.
These workshops offer a safe and supportive environment for educators to learn and ask questions about autism. The specialist facilitators provide best practice skills and strategies when teaching autistic learners and supporting their families.
We recommend starting with our foundational workshop, Working With Autistic Learners. Shorter workshops are also available with a focus on specific areas of education including:
Altogether Autism offers regular workshops to help parents gain a deeper understanding of their autistic and neurodivergent children and ways they can support them.
If you would like to develop an understanding of autism in your workplace, we have a series of workshops that can help.
