Supporting Your Child To Be Authentically Autistic

Workshop Purpose 

For families, whānau, carers and allies wanting to build knowledge to better understand their autistic child or young person. 

What You Will Learn

This workshop is designed in collaboration with autistic and disabled people, their support teams and their families.

You will gain valuable insights into how to become an ally for your autistic child or young person. 

Learn how to use a mana-enhancing, person-centred approach to walk alongside your autistic family member as they achieve a good life on their terms with your support. 

Workshop Details

Duration: One day in person OR two 3-hour sessions online.

Where available: Live in-person workshops, or online via Zoom. 

Facilitators: All our learning events are facilitated by presenters with in-depth knowledge and/or lived experience of autism.
