Connections and Funding 

Want to thrive in your life? Our team loves to help disabled people in Taranaki experience their best life. We can help you with planning and connect you to support and funding that will help you achieve your goals. Our Connections and Funding services include NASC and Local Area Coordination (LAC).  

Total Mobility

If you are unable to travel safely on public transport, you may be eligible for subsidised taxi services with up to 75% off the normal fare.

ADHD Support

If you’re in Taranaki and have a child 16 years or under who has been diagnosed with ADHD, you could be eligible for 10 days of carer respite over 12 months.

Free Hearing Tests and Advice

Are you concerned about your hearing? We provide free hearing tests and can help you access funding for hearing aids and other assistive equipment. We also offer personalised support to help you manage your hearing impairment – at home, at work, and in social situations. Our services are completely independent and fully funded by the New Zealand Government.

Autism Information, Workshops and Support

Altogether Autism is a free, nationwide autism information and advisory service funded by the New Zealand Government. We offer free personalised and reliable information, networking and connection opportunities, workshops, and support. If you have any questions about autism, simply contact us and we’ll provide you with up-to-date reliable information. 

Disability Information and Workshops

We provide numerous learning opportunities for autistic and disabled people, their families / whānau, and the people engaging and working with them. Our workshops, courses, and up-to-date information will give you a greater understanding of disabilities and enable disabled people to live the life they choose in their communities. Mobility Equipment and Living Aids

Mobility Centre is Aotearoa New Zealand’s mobility aid and equipment centre. The online store offers an extensive range of mobility products and services, including daily living aids, mobility scooters, walkers, braces and supports, and so much more.

Whether you are recovering from an accident or injury, or seeking support for age-related issues or a disability, Mobility Centre offers quality equipment to support independent living.
