Who We Support

Your Way | Kia Roha Connections & Funding team provides services to disabled people living in the Tairāwhiti, Taranaki, Whanganui, Hutt, Otago and Southland areas.   

Who can get support from Connections & Funding? 

Your Way | Kia Roha provides Connections & Funding services to disabled people living in the Tairāwhiti, Taranaki, Whanganui, Hutt, Otago and Southland areas who have the following diagnosis:

  • A physical, sensory, or intellectual disability, ASD (or a combination of these) likely to last for more than six months, and  
  • Is younger than 65 when diagnosed, and
  • The disability or disabilities reduce the person’s independence to the extent that ongoing support is required and remains even after equipment, treatment and / or rehabilitation is provided.

Disabilities can be:

  • Physical
  • Autism
  • Sensory: vision and / or hearing
  • Intellectual
