Workshop Purpose
To equip professionals with a deeper understanding of autism and how to use a strength-based mana-enhancing approach when working with autistic people.
What You Will Learn
- Learn how to engage with autistic people to enhance opportunities for belonging and participation
- Understand how to identify the qualities of a good life according to the goals of the autistic people you work with
- Increase your understanding of key topics that affect many autistic children and adults
- Learn practical tips to support behaviour that non-autistics may find challenging.
Workshop Details
Duration: One day in person OR two 3-hour sessions online.
Where available: Live in-person workshops (either as a public workshop or at your location), or online via Zoom or MS Teams.
Facilitators: All our learning events are facilitated by presenters with in-depth knowledge and/or lived experience of autism.
