Workshop Purpose
Ideal for family / whānau, carers, allies and educators, this training presents “social stories” as an effective communication tool when working with autistic learners.
What You Will Learn
Learn the reason for why we would use social stories as a communication tool and the process of creating tailored social stories. Look at how to introduce and use social stories to give the best chance of effectiveness. Workshops can include support to create a specific social story and follow up through this process.

Duration: 3 hours
Where available:
- Live in-person workshops (either as a public workshop or at your location)
- Live online via Zoom or MS Teams.
Facilitators: All our learning events are facilitated by presenters with in-depth knowledge and/or lived experience of autism.
