Hearing Therapy to collaborate with Southern Cochlear Implant Programme in Lower Hutt

Life Unlimited hearing therapist, Linda Hatten, will be working with cochlear implant patients in Lower Hutt part-time from October as part of a new collaboration with the Southern Cochlear Implant Programme (SCIP).

SCIP adult patients living in the North Island will no longer have to travel to Christchurch for the majority of their pre- and post-implant care now that Linda will be available two days per week in the SCIP Lower Hutt clinic.

“It is an exciting opportunity for me to help make a difference in the life of someone with profound hearing loss, which can be a huge barrier to social and work relationships,” says Linda
