An Individual Education Plan (IEP) is an essential tool to support children with special needs so they thrive in education.

An IEP is also a legal requirement for students with Ongoing Resource Scheme (ORS) funding.

Dr Emma Goodall sets out some helpful guidelines that will support teachers and parents to create an IEP that is meaningful and achievable. There’s also a useful example of what a realistic Individual Education Plan looks like.
